"Will I need to replace my Sky HD Box to get 3D?"
09 June 2010No. British satellite broadcaster Sky will be launching a full 3D TV service this autumn – but existing subscribers to its Sky HD service won't need to replace their Sky HD boxes to take advantage of the new broadcasts.
All they'll need to do is subscribe to the new service and request a downloadable update from Sky, which is sent to the user's box to upgrade it for use with the new 3D programmes. Simple.
